It stopped at Dongguan for four minutes, while there were over 1,500 passengers waiting to get on to the train, an officer at the station was quoted by local media as saying on Saturday.

“在那么短的时间内，乘客不可能全部上车。工作人员只是好心地想帮那些春节回家的乘客。我们没有想到后果会这么严重。”该官员表示。拍摄该照片的，《东莞日报》记者郑林东对于此事也深感内疚。 "It was impossible for all the passengers to get on to the train in such a short time period. The staffers were just kindly giving a hand so the passengers could get home for Spring Festival. We never expected such a serious consequence," the officer said.

Only 12 percent supported the decision, and the remaining 3.5 percent said they were undecided.

网上评论显示，那些反对该免职决定的网友认为东莞站领导只是同情乘客。参与投票的网友表示，运输系统失效应当归咎于混乱的场面。 Online comments show those who disagreed with the dismissal of the officials thought the railway officers were just showing they were sympathetic to the passengers. The inefficient transportation system should be blamed for the chaos, the voters said.

Spring festival transportation problem is too complicated to solve in short time. I am more interested about the reaction of the two officers sacked. They are so calm and no response to the hot discusstion in the society. Why? Maybe it's the potential disciplines of the officialdom.

If the two dismissed officials were just sympathetic to the passengers who bought the tickets through the right channel, then I am also a little sympathetic to them losing their job againt their original purpose. However, I am not sympathetic to another commone fact resulted from these officials also helping their special relations to take their privileges, just because of their hats and uniform. What's more, if these two officials could help those passengers who perhaps had no relationship with themselves, but who can tell it? And who can make sure no other officials doing this without obeying the rules and order?

To punish the two officials is surported by public people,because the safety is the most important for everyone.There are a lot of people dead because of lacking security measure.so we hope a more democratic socity.

I don't think anyone is allowed to get on the train through windows.While ,the officials helped them do so,it was definitely wrong.Because,more people would climb the window like them ,which cause big chaos Besides,it is not secure getting through the windows.It may cause harm to other passengers.Such photographs showed the officals insufficient management over the transpoatation .They were incompetence on their positions .They deserved the penalty

If The two officials show their sympathy to the peoples who were eager to catch the train and no relation with them, it is good behavour to help others, but is not very reasonal way to solve the problem, if everybody wants to get on the train through window, it is so dangerous and makes big chaos, which can be uncontroable for train staff. what is more, we hope the governmnet attach more importance to build more rail and open more trail lines to relief this kind of things. Or consider to open more high speed train, reduce the cost of airplane during holidays..............
