“沉睡数千年，一醒惊天下”。3月29日，三星堆博物馆新馆在四川广汉市正式破土动工，新馆将再现“三星伴月”景观。三星堆博物馆以建设世界一流博物馆为目标，力争成为中国文旅新地标。

据了解，三星堆博物馆新馆位于三星堆博物馆园区内，占地面积66亩，建筑面积约5.5万平方米，是现有场馆建筑面积的5倍。新馆除了展示三星堆1、2号“祭祀坑”文物外，还将展示新一轮考古发掘出土的重要文物。

The construction of a new building of the renowned Sanxingdui museum began on Tuesday in the city of Guanghan, southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The new building is located in the Sanxingdui museum park, with a total floor area of approximately 55,000 square meters — five times the size of the museum's current buildings.

The new building will house the cultural artifacts unearthed from the No. 1 and No. 2 pits of the Sanxingdui Ruins site, as well as important cultural artifacts unearthed in future excavation projects.

三星堆博物馆新馆设计秉承“馆园结合”的理念，统筹考虑与遗址公园、现有展馆的关系，将新馆和游客中心一体化设计。主体建筑的三个单元体朝向三星堆遗址区、老馆及公园区，形成“博物馆”与“遗址区”之间的时空对话。

中国建筑第八工程局有限公司三星堆博物馆项目负责人李文博介绍，根据现有的方案，整个博物馆将由三个起伏相连、相互堆叠的圆弧形建筑构成，立面墙体与二号馆外墙相连环抱一方水潭，形成“三星伴月”之景。

The new building will consist of three undulating circular structures stacked on top of each other, said LWenbo, who is in charge of the construction.

据中国建筑西南设计研究院总建筑师刘艺介绍，新馆馆内的建筑设计也暗藏匠心，进入“时空螺旋”序厅，螺旋楼梯环绕放大6倍的青铜大立人雕塑，让游客切实感受古蜀文明“沉睡数千年，一醒惊天下”的震撼。

新馆共6个常展厅和1个临展厅，展览面积1.8万平方米。结构设计采用钢桁架楼盖，保证展厅均为灵活无柱、可分可合的开敞空间。一楼设计了“古城古国”“古蜀文明交流”“考古发掘历程”等主题展厅。在参观完一层后，观众还可以通过螺旋楼梯进入二层 “圆形剧场”观赏情景短剧，再参观“艺术、神话与祭祀”展厅、“文物重器专题”展厅、“新考古成果”展厅。

三星堆新馆还包含地下一层。观众通过螺旋楼梯进入负一楼以后，这里设计了游玩儿童乐园和学术报告厅。未来，孩子们可以在这里通过游戏的方式爱上考古和文物，观众也可以在这里聆听到考古大咖们的学术报告。

“计划打造世界一流的博物馆和国家考古遗址公园，使之成为展现中华文明多元一体起源发展的国家文化标识。”广汉市委副书记、三星堆遗址管委会主任王居中说。

整个项目分为主体工程和展陈工程两个部分，总投资14.33亿元。主体工程计划一年内完成；展陈策划设计同步启动，展陈工程预计于2023年10月完成。

"A world-class museum and a national archaeological site park are planned, making the museum a national cultural symbol showcasing the origins and development of Chinese civilization," said Wang Juzhong, director of the management commission of the Sanxingdui Ruins site.

Construction has two parts: the main project and the exhibition project. It has a total investment of approximately 1.43 billion yuan (about 224.7 million U.S. dollars). The exhibition project is expected to be completed in October 2023.

三星堆遗址位于广汉市，发现于上世纪20年代末，距离成都大约60公里，面积达12平方公里，被称为20世纪人类最伟大的考古发现之一。三星堆古蜀文化距今至少4800年，据测算遗址时间跨度超过两千年之久。截至2021年底，三星堆六个祭祀坑共出土文物10000多件，包括黄金面罩、雕像、象牙制品等。

Discovered in the late 1920s, the Sanxingdui Ruins have been called one of the world's greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century. Covering 12 square kilometers, the ruins are located in the city of Guanghan in Sichuan Province, about 60 kilometers from Chengdu, the provincial capital. They are believed to be remnants of the Shu Kingdom, which survived for over 2,000 years. The ruins date back at least 4,800 years.

By the end of last year, over 10,000 relics, including golden masks, figurines and ivory objects had been unearthed from the six recently unearthed sacrificial pits.
