2019年12月27日20时45分，长征五号遥三运载火箭在中国文昌航天发射场点火升空，2000多秒后将实践二十号卫星送入预定轨道，发射飞行试验取得圆满成功。长征五号是我国目前起飞规模最大、运载能力最强、技术跨度最大的一型运载火箭。实践二十号卫星是目前我国研制的地球同步轨道卫星中发射重量最重的一颗，总重超过8吨。

The Long March-5 rocket, China's largest carrier rocket, was successfully launched from Wenchang Space Launch Center in south China's Hainan Province last Friday night. Lifting off from China's only coastal launch site at 8:45 p.m. Beijing time, this 57-meter-tall Long March-5 is by far the country's most capable carrier rocket in terms of payload capacity. After a 2,220 second flight, it has successfully sent the Shijian-20 technological experiment satellite into geostationary transfer orbit，the heaviest and most advanced communications satellite in the country.

illegal acts targeting medical staff and institutions
 


在12月28日召开的十三届全国人大常委会第十五次会议上，《基本医疗卫生与健康促进法》获得表决通过，这是我国卫生健康领域内的第一部基础性、综合性的法律。针对“医闹”事件屡禁不止，该法作出明确规定：全社会应当关心、尊重医疗卫生人员，维护良好安全的医疗卫生服务秩序，共同构建和谐医患关系。医疗卫生人员的人身安全、人格尊严不受侵犯，其合法权益受法律保护。禁止任何组织和个人威胁、危害医疗卫生人员人身安全，侵犯医疗卫生人员人格尊严。

The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the top legislative body, voted to pass the country's first fundamental and comprehensive law on basic medical and healthcare last Saturday morning. In a bid to deter illegal acts targeting medical staff and institutions, the law stipulates that the personal safety and dignity of medical workers must not be infringed upon and that their legitimate rights are protected by law. The just-adopted law calls for all people in all walks of life to care about and respect medical workers, keep the medical environment and service in order and establish better relationships between hospitals and patients, banning any organization or individual from threatening or harming the personal safety or dignity of medical staff.

一小时通勤圈

12月30日，连接北京和河北省张家口市的京张高铁正式开通运营。京张高铁开通后，北京到张家口的通行时间由3个多小时缩减至47分钟。张家口也加入了北京“一小时通勤圈”。乘客可以在一小时内通过公共交通到达上班地点。

A high-speed railway line connecting Beijing and Zhangjiakou, Heibei, began operation on Dec. 30. It reduces the travel between Beijing and Zhangjiakou from three-plus hours to just 47 minutes. The line adds Zhangjiakou into Beijing’s “one-hour commuting circle”. This allows people to reach their workplace in an hour at most via public transportation, says China Daily. 

马上学：Commuting意思是“通勤，经常往返（于两地）”，其动词形式是commute。短语commute between A and B意为“往返于A、B两地”。
