据新华社报道，针对美方一些政客声称要求就新冠肺炎疫情蔓延“起诉”中方的言论，外交部发言人耿爽20日在例行记者会上表示，中方同其他国家一样，受到了新冠病毒的攻击，是受害者，而不是加害者，更不是病毒的“同谋”，希望美方个别人停止对中国的无端攻击指责。

4月20日，在外交部发言人耿爽主持的例行记者会上，有CNN记者提问：美国总统特朗普上周日表示，美国仍然想要向中国派遣自己的调查人员来调查疫情相关情况，并表示美国一直就这个问题和中国进行商谈。上周六，特朗普表示，如果中方对病毒蔓延负有故意责任，就需承担后果。此外，上周五，两名美国国会议员在国会发起一项议案，要求允许美国公民和地方政府就所谓中国误导世卫组织而导致全球性疫情蔓延起诉中国政府。请问你有何评论？

耿爽表示：

“新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，中方本着公开、透明、负责任态度，采取了最全面、最严格、最彻底的防控措施，全力遏制疫情扩散蔓延，积极开展国际防控合作。中国为全球抗疫付出了巨大牺牲，积累了宝贵经验，作出了重大贡献。国际社会对中国的抗疫努力和成效有目共睹，高度赞赏。”
