2020全国高考本周结束。教育部表示，今年高考期间已采取最严格的新冠肺炎疫情防控措施，每个考点安排了不少于3个备用隔离考场，考试中出现发热、咳嗽考生，可转移至备用隔离考场应考。2020年全国高考报名人数1071万，比去年增加40万。2020年，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，全国普通高等学校招生统一考试时间推迟至2020年7月7日至8日 ，部分省（区、市）由于考试科目设置不同，9日、10日也安排了部分考试科目。

China has put in place the most rigorous COVID-19 prevention and control measures for this year's national college entrance exam, the Ministry of Education said. There are at least three isolated test rooms at each test site, available for candidates who exhibit symptoms of fever and cough during the exam. Around 10.71 million candidates registered for this year's exam, up by 400,000 from a year earlier, the ministry said. China began taking the all-important national college entrance exam, or gaokao, amid the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday, after it had been delayed by a month due to the outbreak. Students in most parts of the country take the exam on Tuesday and Wednesday, while in some places that have undertaken gaokao reforms, the exam is held until Friday.
