吃着烧烤，喝着啤酒，在沙滩上晒太阳……前段时间在青岛举办的国际啤酒节，又让不少外国网友酸了！

继武汉水上派对被法新社报道后（戳这里回顾），山东青岛的啤酒节也火上了外媒！8月29日，澳大利亚广播公司（ABC）用大量篇幅介绍了中国青岛国际啤酒节。

ABC：随着新冠病毒几乎消灭，中国举办啤酒节将注意力转向经济复苏




  
ABC的报道写道，如今举办泳池派对，或者人们在假日中奔向沙滩已经司空见惯了。青岛甚至举办了为期三周的啤酒节，这里有过去几个月都不曾想象的画面：人群。

Now, it's not uncommon to see pool parties and people hitting the beach for holidays. In the port city of Qingdao, they even held a three-week beer festival, drawing in what would have been unthinkable just months ago: huge crowds.

报道援引当地政府的话表示，这届啤酒节是一次让市民“感受自己回归正常生活”的机会。

Local authorities said the boozy celebration was a chance for people to "feel normal again".

据新华网报道，8月16日晚，为期17天的第30届青岛国际啤酒节在青岛西海岸新区金沙滩啤酒城圆满落幕。本届啤酒节首创“线上+线下”办节新模式，在做好疫情防控的同时，为广大游客提供了来自40多个国家和地区的1500余款啤酒，还举办了200余场经贸、文体活动。

ABC：人口超10亿却消灭疫情，非同寻常的成就

ABC在报道中说：中国这样人口超过10亿的国家，已经几乎消灭了疫情，这是非同寻常的成就。

It marks an extraordinary achievement, with China close to eliminating COVID-19 despite being a densely populated country of more than 1 billion people.

报道称，疫情暴发时，中国政府采取了强制性的智能手机溯源系统，不断推广佩戴口罩，以及精准的封闭隔离措施。现在看来，这些严格且具有针对性的措施都收获了成效。

China's Government has used compulsory smartphone tracking systems, constant promotion of masks and targeted lockdowns to snuff out outbreaks when they emerge. And it appears as if the strict and targeted measures are starting to pay off.

就青岛啤酒节而言，参与者需要给安保人员出示绿色健康码后才能进入场地，证明其近日没有到过具有疫情风险的地方。

All attendees had to present green health codes to security guards to enter the festival venue, showing they hadn't recently been anywhere deemed at risk of coronavirus outbreak.

对比其他国家现状，中国生活重回正轨

文中提到，在与中国人口数量相近规模的印度，8月份曾出现过最多6万的日新增病例。人口大约为中国四分之一的美国，城市密度也更小，但是也出现过日增4万病例。甚至有戴口罩习惯的日本，面对卷土重来的疫情也在8月份出现过日增超1000病例的情况。

In comparison, India — the only country with a similar population to China — recorded around 60,000 new infections per day in August. The US, which has less than a quarter of China's population and less urban density, is recording around 40,000 cases a day. Even Japan, a country whose citizens have diligently embraced masks, recorded more than 1,000 new daily cases throughout most of August during a renewed flare-up.

在对比了中国以及上面这些国家的疫情情况后，ABC得出结论：中国的成果非同寻常。而且，中国近来重启经济活动以及防疫措施的调整，证明中国的低病例数据是准确的。

The result, compared to other large-population countries, is nothing short of extraordinary. The extent of the reopening in recent months and the relaxation of control measures suggest the low numbers are broadly accurate.

中国相对成功的防范了疫情的进一步扩散，使得国家更迅速地重启经济——特别是工厂和建筑行业——这对于澳大利亚以及其他依赖中国市场的出口经济体是好消息。

China's relative success in preventing further waves of mass infection has allowed for a faster reopening of the economy — particularly factories and construction — which is helping Australia and other commodity exporters reliant on their market.

尽管目前旅游行业的数据还不及往年，但是情况很快会好转。境外旅游目前暂未开放，在疫情进一步得到控制的情况下，中国的境内旅游行业会保持上升。

There's hope that could soon change. With overseas holidays off-limits, the country's domestic tourism industry will likely keep rebounding if further coronavirus outbreaks continue to be thwarted.

啤酒节的举办同时也让外国网友看到了中国的抗疫表现。

“这才是控制疫情该做的工作：早期封闭隔离，粉碎（而非平缓）疫情曲线，扑灭本地疫情二次暴发。通过这些，中国已经举办啤酒节了，而慕尼黑还不能人群聚集。”（注：文中的Oktoberfest原意为慕尼黑啤酒节，又称十月节。）
 

“优秀的执行力，注重速度，包括对无症状者的大规模检测，遵守规则的民众。之前武汉还举办了千人派对，不需要口罩，也不用保持社交距离。中国崛起，西方在衰退。”
