CNN：美国儿科学会称，过去两周儿童新冠病例增加28%



据CNN报道，美国儿科学会（AAP）发布的最新数据显示，过去一周美国儿童新冠病例新增14.4万。过去两周，儿童新增病例增涨28%，占比超过全美确诊病例的11%。

There were more than 144,000 new cases of Covid-19 reported among children last week, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) said Monday.Over the last two weeks, there has been a 28% increase in child Covid-19 cases and children now account for more than 11% of all confirmed coronavirus cases in the US, according to the AAP.

从11月12日-19日，17岁及以下儿童病例为144145例。截至美国时间周一，美国累计新冠确诊病例超过1200万，超过25.7万人的死亡与新冠病毒相关。

About 144,145 new cases among children 17 and under were reported from November 12 to 19, AAP said. As of Monday, the US has reported more than 12 million coronavirus cases, and more than 257,000 coronavrius-related deaths.
 


AAP的报告指出，“目前来看，儿童中因新冠引发的严重病症还比较罕见。然而，我们急需收集更多疫情对于儿童长期影响的数据，包括病毒可能长期影响儿童身体健康的途径，以及因此造成的情绪和精神健康方面的影响。”美国疾控中心的另一份报告则显示，18岁及以下儿童中有关精神健康急诊的案例激增，从4月份开始，一直到10月份都在增加。

“At this time, it appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is rare among children,” the doctors' group said. “However, there is an urgent need to collect more data on longer-term impacts of the pandemic on children, including ways the virus may harm the long-term physical health of infected children, as well as its emotional and mental health effects. A recent CDC report found a jump in mental health-related emergency department visits among children 18 and younger, beginning in April and remaining elevated through October.

福克斯新闻则指出，儿童感染新冠一直以来都是地方官员和关切的家长所关注的话题。很多人也表示担心感恩节的来临，会让病例数目继续增加。

当地时间23日，美国ICU护士凯瑟琳在推特上发布了两张对比照片，显示自己在疫情前后的容貌变化。这张照片的转推超过2万，点赞超23万。

凯瑟琳则在推特中写道：

“没错，这无异于持续的耳光，我可以努力工作，大汗淋漓，疲惫不堪的做苦活累活。但是，我不能接受那么多人不承认当今的局面是由于不作为和冥顽不灵所造成的。那些人，都不应该死去的。”

其他医护人员也表达了类似的心情：医护人员已经不堪重负。而且大家强调：面对即将到来的冬季和节假日，美国人戴好口罩，就是对医护人员最大的帮助。
 


据《卫报》报道，随着美国疫情加剧，病患激增，现在美国医院面临人员不足的严重问题。



《卫报》指出，美国有关方面推出新的宣传视频，100多家医疗卫生系统机构联合呼吁美国民众佩戴口罩。视频中除了宣传口号，还展示出医护人员疲惫的照片。
