Facebook announced Friday that former President Donald Trump would be suspended from its platform until at least January 7th, 2023 -- two years from when he was initially suspended.



脸书公司的全球事务主管尼克·克莱格在社交媒体写道：“我们认为他的行为严重违背平台规则，依据新执行条例对他施行最严厉处罚……如果我们确认仍会对公共安全构成一系列风险，我们将延长限制期限并持续评估直至风险消退。”

"We believe his actions constituted a severe violation of our rules which merit the highest penalty available under the new enforcement protocols," Nick Clegg, the company's vice president for global affairs, said in a post Friday, "If we determine that there is still a serious risk to public safety, we will extend the restriction for a set period of time and continue to re-evaluate until that risk has receded."

特朗普4日发表声明，宣称这一决定“侮辱”他的支持者。

In a statement, Trump called the decision an "insult" to his supporters.

他说：“我下次入主白宫以后将不再同意（脸书首席执行官）马克·扎克伯格的请求，不会与他及其夫人一起吃饭。一切将公事公办！”扎克伯格与特朗普2019年在白宫餐叙。

“Next time I’m in the White House there will be no more dinners, at his request, with Mark Zuckerberg and his wife. It will be all business!”



此外，脸书公司4日表示，如果政治人物在社交媒体发布虚假或恶毒言论，脸书将不再给予他们“无限制豁免”。按照克莱格的说法，脸书将开始发布政治人物上述言论能够得到豁免的“极少特例”。

特朗普个人博客平台下线：没流量

据CNBC报道，特朗普的发言人透露，其“交流平台”已永久关停。

Donald Trump's communications platform has been permanently shut down, his spokesperson told CNBC.

名为“来自唐纳德•J•特朗普的办公桌”的平台上个月才开通，用于发布特朗普自己的相关内容，比如记者会或者视频。在年初的国会山骚乱后，特朗普被脸书和推特封禁，当时特朗普在这两个平台上有数以千万的粉丝。

The platform, titled From the Desk of Donald J Trump, launched last month and served as a way for the former president to publish his own content including press releases and videos. Trump was banned from Facebook and Twitter after the Capitol Hill Riots. At the time of his social media ban in January, Trump boasted tens of millions of followers on Twitter and millions on Facebook.

然而，与之形成鲜明对比的则是，特朗普的博客平台，流量却少得多。NBC称之为“离开平台后产生的影响”。

Trump’s blog, in contrast, struggled to amass even a fraction of that engagement, NBC News reported a week after its launch.
 


平台“不会再有了”，特朗普的高级助手杰森•米勒对CNBC表示，该博客对特朗普建立个人社交媒体平台仅起“辅助性作用”。团队正在为建立平台努力筹备，估计不久可以公布相关消息。

It “will not be returning,” his senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC.“Hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing,” Miller said.

目前，特朗普网站上有关该平台的部分已经移除。米勒还在推特上表示，这是特朗普回归社交媒体的“前兆”，不过他并没有公布时间和方式等具体信息。

From the Desk of Donald J Trump had a section on the former president's official website, but it has now been removed. Miller confirmed via Twitter that it is a precursor to Trump's return to social media, although it is unclear when or how.
 


“来自唐纳德•J•特朗普的办公桌”这一博客页面先前被标榜为可以“自由、安全地畅所欲言的地方”，但其实是特朗普单方面向受众发布信息的渠道。他所发贴文可以被人们转发到推特、脸书等社交媒体。

The website - which was often referred to as a blog - had a rolling feed of Trump's various posts and gave visitors the option to "like" the post and share it to Facebook and Twitter.



米勒曾在3月接受美国福克斯新闻频道采访时说，特朗普可能会在两三个月后“借助他自己的平台”重返社交媒体。

In March, Miller told Fox News he thinks "we're going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months" and "with his own platform".

不过目前，特朗普除了自己的“美国45任总统办公室”网站（戳这里回顾），尚未开设其他平台。今年以来，特朗普接受媒体采访时，依然说自己是“一场阴谋的受害者”，称自己的“2020年选举（胜利）被窃取”。
