据《人民日报》报道，美国不断将病毒溯源问题政治化，炮制“武汉病毒实验室泄漏论”。世卫组织今年3月的报告中指出，新冠病毒由实验室引入“极不可能”。通过散布这样的虚假信息，美国企图将其国内抗疫不力的失败甩锅他人。约有70个国家致函世卫组织，反对溯源问题政治化。

According to People’s Daily, the United States continues to politicize the origin tracing of COVID-19 by claiming that the coronavirus was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. As stated in a WHO report in March, this is “extremely unlikely” to be the origin of the pandemic. By spreading such misinformation, the US hopes to shift blame for its failure to control the disease nationwide. Around 70 countries have sent letters to the WHO opposing politicizing the tracing of COVID-19’s origins.
