Darya Dugina, the daughter of Russia's prominent philosopher and social activist Alexander Dugin, was murdered, the Russian Investigative Committee said Sunday. Dugina, a journalist and political scientist, died on the spot after an explosive device went off.
The murder of Russian journalist Darya Dugina has been solved, Russia’s federal security service FSB has said. It was prepared by Ukrainian secret services. The perpetrator - a citizen of Ukraine identified as Natalia Vovk - escaped to Estonia, the FSB’s public relations center stated.
She had arrived in Russia on July 23, 2022, together with her daughter Sofya Shaban, born in 2010. "On the day of the murder, Vovk and Shaban attended the literary and music festival Tradition, where Dugina was present as an honorary guest. On August 21, after a remote-controlled explosion of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado car Dugina was driving, Vovk and her daughter left through the Pskov Region to Estonia," the FSB said.
另据塔斯社报道,俄罗斯总统普京8月22日签署命令,追授达莉娅·杜金娜英勇勋章。
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to award the Order of Courage posthumously to Russian journalist and public activist Darya Dugina.
Ukraine has denied any involvement in Dugina's killing, calling the FSB claims fiction. "We have nothing to do with the murder of this lady -- this is the work of the Russian special services," said Oleksii Danylov, secretary of Ukraine's National Security Council, in an interview on Ukrainian television Monday.
美国国务院发言人普莱斯在22日的发布会上表示没有其他信息公开,但是明确谴责任何以平民为目标的行径。
“I don’t have anything to share beyond what you have all heard publicly, and that is that Ukraine has denied any involvement in the attack on this individual. We unequivocally condemn the targeting of civilians. We condemn the targeting of civilians.”
外媒:冲突爆发点
《华盛顿邮报》认为,该事件似乎可能为俄乌冲突制造新的爆发点(a flash point ),并且称呼杜金是普京的“盟友”。
Aleksandr Dugin is in the curious position of being better known abroad than in Russia. He's not influential in the Kremlin. Nor is he even a mainstream figure in Moscow. Instead, he's become a totem for ultra-nationalist campaigners, most of whom believe President Vladimir Putin is too moderate in his foreign policy.
Events to mark Ukraine's Independence Day on Wednesday have been banned in the country's capital, Kyiv, and second-largest city, Kharkiv, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other officials warn that Russia may carry out missile strikes.
