当地时间1月31日23点，英国正式脱离欧盟，向47年的盟友说再见，也为历时3年多的脱欧历程划上句号。
 

英国多地当天举行了规模不等的庆祝活动，但首都伦敦的庆祝活动最令人瞩目。除了庆祝活动外，反对脱欧者在英国多地举行了游行和示威活动。而不少在线吃瓜的围观段子手们也纷纷出动，开始P起了表情包……

The United Kingdom has been in quite a pickle for the last couple of years. Since the June 2016 referendum, in which 52% of the country voted to leave the European Union, the UK had been stuck in an endless conflict as well as a political nightmare while the government tried to negotiate the terms with the EU. Even though the government officially announced the country's withdrawal in March 2017, the process was delayed due to deadlock in the UK parliament.

After many failed negotiations, several changes in the parliament and general uproar from the people, the UK left the EU at 11 p.m. GMT on 31 January 2020. And while many people rejoiced, others couldn't hide their shame and disappointment. Oh, and as always, there was a third group of people. The ones who made dozens of memes to make fun of the situation. And that's exactly what we're going to focus on.
