美国国内针对新冠肺炎疫情防控争执不断，白宫与纽约州方面近日围绕新冠疫苗问题更是针锋相对。

 

当地时间13日下午，特朗普在白宫就新冠疫苗进展召开记者会。这是他在美国主流媒体预测拜登“胜选”后，首次公开讲话。特朗普并没有就大选结果进行表态，而是介绍了有关新冠疫苗的最新情况。

 

US President Donald Trump said Friday that the U.S. government would not deliver a coronavirus vaccine to New York if and when one is available.

“最快4月份，所有普通民众均可接种疫苗，除了纽约州这样的地方。出于政治原因，该州州长称......希望在疫苗上花点时间，他不信任疫苗的来源，从健康角度来说这很不好”，特朗普说，美国政府不能将疫苗送到“一个不会立即将其提供给民众的州。因此我们不会将其（疫苗）送到纽约州，直到我们获得了授权这样做（将疫苗提供给民众）。对我来说这很难过。” 

 

"As soon as April, the vaccine will be available to the entire general population, with the exceptions of places like New York state where, for political reasons, the governor decided to say, and I don't think it's good politically, I think it's very bad from a health point, but he wants to take his time on the vaccine, he doesn't trust where the vaccine's coming from," Mr. Trump said. "... We won't be delivering it to New York until we have authorization to do so, and that pains me to say that."

 

对于特朗普的此番言论，纽约州检察长詹姆斯（Letitia James）当地时间13日表示，她已准备好起诉特朗普政府，以应对有人试图扣留纽约州的新冠病毒疫苗。据CBS News14日消息，詹姆斯在一份声明中表示，总统的扣留疫苗举动，只是试图对那些反对他的人进行报复而采取的政治复仇行为。

 

Shortly after Trump’s comments, New York Attorney General Letitia James issued a statement threatening to sue Trump if a vaccine was not sent to the state once available. “This is nothing more than vindictive behavior by a lame-duck president trying to extract vengeance on those who oppose his politics,” James said.

当地时间13日，纽约州长科莫在CNN一档节目中回应称，到那时（4月）特朗普早就不在白宫了。科莫指责特朗普认定其出于政治原因来延迟疫苗分发，并企图用即将上市的新冠疫苗来威胁他。“他企图霸凌人民，霸凌州长，他以政府作为复仇工具，我不会让纽约人受到这份欺负，”科莫说道。

 

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday accused President Donald Trump of trying to use a potential coronavirus vaccine to intimidate him following Trump's assertion that Cuomo would hold up vaccine distribution in the state for political reasons.

 

"He tries to bully people — he tries to bully governors, he uses government as a retaliatory tool," Cuomo told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room," adding that "I'm not going to let a bully push New Yorkers around, period."

科莫在当地时间15日进一步表示，将利用法律手段保护纽约州民众。他还表示，特朗普政府计划通过私人公司派发疫苗，意味着低收入人群，特别是有色人种社区，将无法获得疫苗。

 

Cuomo took it a step further on Sunday, in remarks at the historic Riverside Church in the Bronx. He said the Trump administration's plan to distribute the vaccine through private companies would mean that lower income communities — and especially communities of color — would not have access to a vaccine.

Cuomo, a Democrat who has repeatedly criticized President Donald Trump and his Republican administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, told reporters at a briefing he was going to form a review committee to advise the state on the safety of a vaccine.

 

美国约翰斯•霍普金斯大学统计数据显示，截至美东时间15日16时27分，美国累计新冠肺炎确诊病例达11000984例，累计死亡病例246006例。过去24小时，美国新增确诊病例141323例，新增死亡病例553例。

 

最近一周，美国平均单日新增新冠确诊病例约14万例，疫情正加速蔓延。美国新冠肺炎死亡人数近25万人，CNN首席记者指出，这一数字相当于今年美国有625架客机坠毁，几乎每天掉两架。（It is the equivalent of 625 planes crashing this year--nearly two every single day so far.）

据央视网消息，美国《外交政策》杂志网站当地时间13日发文指出，美国的新冠肺炎疫情已经达到了“巨大灾难”的级别(The American COVID-19 crisis has reached catastrophic levels.)，而美国政府在防控疫情方面的重视却并不足够。

 

文章说，美国的新冠病毒蔓延已经失控，全美50个州中已经有49个州被标为红色(the virus is out of control across the country—with 49 states simultaneously classified as hot spots )。
