Li Tianyi, a 25-year-old postgraduate at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, made the headlines with his smooth and witty lecturing style. During his classes, Li may randomly pick up items like an umbrella or a bag of bread as tools to help students better understand the subject. “He is the right person to help attract high school students to enroll in his college,” one netizen joked, with many others agreeing with the observation.

 

Li’s teaching style continues to win him fans. His witticisms include: “This question is just right for high school students, but it’s quite challenging for freshmen.” “There are many choices in life. 兵器发射理论与技术专业的研二学生

今年25岁的他

已经连续4年在期末

为本科生开设高等数学讲座

 

其实，李天意也曾踩过高数的“坑”

大一上学期期末只考了78分

这让他感觉很挫败

 

“啃”教材、搜集资料、摸索规律

在总结出一些方法后

李天意发现高数并没有想象中那么难

第二学期高数的考试

他取得了100分满分的成绩

 

逐渐掌握学习方法的李天意

决定帮助学弟学妹

让他们在学习高数的过程中

少走“弯路”

 

大三

李天意第一次站上讲台

为大家集中讲解

当时参加讲座的学生

考试通过率在98%以上

Li has taught advanced math to undergraduates for four consecutive years. But he had struggled in advanced math himself, scoring mediocre grades at the end of the first semester of his freshman year. After mastering his lessons, Li obtained a perfect score in the second semester, finding the subject to be not as difficult as he had imagined.

 

He subsequently signed up as an academic guide, offering advanced math lectures to freshmen. With his thoughtful and interesting examples, boring knowledge becomes fascinating.

 

李天意为自己热爱的教学

七八个小时的讲座

他往往需要三倍的备课时间

期末“营业”的高峰期

一天要接待18个同学

每个同学讲上半小时

加起来就是9个小时

能坚持下来

靠的是对教育的一腔热情

Through these meaningful teaching experiences, Li has found his future direction. “Whether it is preparing lessons or standing on the podium, I enjoy myself very much.” He said he hopes to pursue more opportunities in education after graduating with a master’s degree.
