是一位高中物理老师

为了给学生更直观的讲解

高一课本上“小船过河”

这个经典运动学问题

他把任天堂游戏机和游戏

《塞尔达传说：旷野之息》

（The Legend of Zelda: 

Breath of the Wild）

带进了课堂

During a high school class, a teacher took out a Nintendo Switch game console and started playing it with a controller. The video of this incident went viral after it was posted last month on Bilibili, gaining over 2.7 million views.

 

As it turns out, the mastermind behind the viral video is a high school physics teacher who goes by the name Dakuan Physics on Bilibili. To provide his first-year students with a more engaging way of learning the classic kinematics problem of "The boat crosses the river," he brought in a Nintendo Switch and the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

所以你们可能对这个场景

没有一个很形象的了解。

但没关系，

我们可以借助游戏

去体验‘小船过河’这个场景。”

 

说完，他从课桌下

拿出了一台游戏机

连接白板启动了游戏

视频中，能听到一些学生

发出了惊讶或激动的声音

可见这一举动

立即吸引了他们的注意力

 

When Dakuan took out the game console, connected it to the whiteboard, and started playing the game, he immediately captured the attention of his students.

进入游戏后

大宽老师问学生：

怎样能用最短时间游到河对岸？

有学生回答“垂直游”

“但这样的话

人实际的运动轨迹会是什么样的呢？”

问完问题，大宽老师

先是操纵游戏主人公林克

垂直游向河对岸

只见游戏画面上

由于水流向左流动

林克虽然向正前方游

运动轨迹却偏左侧（河下游）

最后，林克花费最短的时间

以及较长的距离游至对岸

 

After entering the game, Dakuan asked his students, "How can I swim to the other side of the river in the shortest amount of time?" Some students answered, "By swimming straight ahead."

"And what would the swimmer's actual path look like?" The teacher asked, before proceeding to manipulate the game hero, Link, to swim vertically to the other side of the river. In the game, the water flows to the left, causing Link to drift leftward (downstream) even though he is swimming straight ahead. Eventually, Link reached the opposite side in the shortest amount of time.

而是用最短距离过河，

应该怎么游？

这一次，大宽老师

操作游戏中的林克

选择了以一个

偏向右侧（河上游）的角度

再次向对岸游

只见这时的运动轨迹

始终垂直于河岸

即以最短距离横渡河流

 

"What if I want to swim the shortest distance across the river instead of the shortest time?" Dakuan inquired.

This time, the teacher manipulated Link in the game by swimming at an angle towards the right (upstream) and eventually reaching the opposite bank. It was evident that his movement was always perpendicular to the riverbank, thus covering the shortest distance across the river.

除了水流的运动轨迹

大宽老师还用游戏中

林克恒定减少的“精力槽（体力）”

来指代消耗的时间

第一次林克垂直游向对岸

虽然轨迹偏离，路途更长

但是消耗的体力还不到一圈

由此可以看出耗时更短

 

而第二次

虽然林克沿着最短的距离

游到了对岸

消耗的体力却比之前要多了不少

由此可见花费了更多的时间

其实他已经期待了这堂课五年

 

原来

早在2018年

他就在B站发布视频

提出了用游戏“塞尔达”

讲解“小船过河”的教学想法

但因为各种原因

一直没能付诸实践

 

直到上个月

他才总算把这个想法带进了课堂

并拍摄了这个让他“火出圈”的视频

 

不过，这并不是大宽老师

第一次利用游戏来讲物理了

业余时间

作为一位B站科普UP 主

大宽老师做了不少视频

讲解高中基础知识点

或者科普一些生活中的常见现象

 

由于很喜欢玩游戏

他发现不少游戏

其实挺适合作物理教材

于是制作了一系列结合游戏

“这些其实都是很抽象的知识，

它没办法像是摩擦力，

重力这样直接地给学生演示；

但是借助游戏，

他们能更直观地接触到这些内容，

点燃过一次火箭，看过一次升空，

脑海里有个印象，

也就对这个知识点更了解一分。"

他在采访中说

“作为老师，

我并不会去更多地让他们（学生）

关注游戏本身。

说到底

‘游戏’对我只是一种娱乐方式，

它和小说、电影一样，

只是生活中的一点佐料。

但如果，我在生活之中，

还能发现像这样‘闪闪发光’的内容，

我也很乐意在课堂上，

分享给我的学生。"

 

在他心里

让学生记住和理解这些知识

比分数更加重要

“有些学生学物理确实是不容易，

但如果在课堂上，

他能觉得物理有趣，

培养出一些用物理知识

分析生活现象的意识，

甚至毕业很多年之后还能想起物理，

我认为这是教学的意义。”

大宽老师说
 

In Dakuan’s mind, it is more crucial for students to understand and retain knowledge rather than achieving high grades.

 

"Learning physics can be a challenging task for some students, but if they can find it interesting in class, develop an awareness of using physics knowledge to analyze real-life phenomena, and even recall the principles of physics many years after graduation, I believe that is the true essence of teaching," he said.
