八仙过海，各显神通！

八仙各有哪些不为人知的“神通”？赶紧一睹为快吧！

传说很久以前，有八位得道仙人：铁拐李、汉钟离、吕洞宾、曹国舅、张果老、韩湘子、蓝采和、何仙姑。

Legend has it that long long ago in China there lived eight immortals. They were Tieguai Li, Han Zhongli, Lü Dongbin, Cao Guojiu, Zhang Guolao, Han Xiangzi, Lan Caihe, and He Xiangu.
  



一天，八仙兴高采烈地来到海上的蓬莱阁聚会饮酒。

One day, the Eight Immortals went to a drinks party in the Penglai Pavilion by the sea.
 


在席间，铁拐李对众仙说：“都说蓬莱、方丈、瀛洲三神山景致秀丽，我们何不去游玩观赏？”

During the party, Tieguai Li suggested, “Nearby there lays three holy mountains, the Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou. After the party, why don’t we visit them and enjoy their beauty?”

大家一听也觉得很有意思，纷纷赞同。

“A good idea,” they all agreed.
 


铁拐李第一个过海。他把手中的葫芦抛入海中，只见小葫芦一下子变成了一个巨大的葫芦，浮在水面上，铁拐李坐着葫芦驶向对岸。

Tieguai Li was the first to set out. He threw his gourd into the sea, where it grew huge in size and floated on the surface; he jumped on it and it carried him toward the opposite bank. 

汉钟离见此情景，赶忙把手中的芭蕉扇扔到大海里，那扇子大如蒲席，他坐到扇子上，悠哉悠哉地向前漂去。

Seeing this, Han Zhongli followed him immediately. He threw his palm-leaf fan into the sea. And, like a big rush mat, the fan carried him forward, freely to the other side.
  



何仙姑将荷花往海里一放，那荷花立刻在海面上绽开，亭亭玉立的何仙姑踩着荷花，飘然而去。

He Xiangu threw her lotus flower into the sea. Immediately, it blossomed with brilliance. She stood gracefully in its middle and it moved forward as if it were a boat

吕洞宾也不甘示弱，他摘下宝剑扔向大海。瞬间，一道银光闪过，宝剑变成一条青龙，载着吕洞宾在海面上破浪前行。

Lü Dongbin hated to show the white feather. He threw his sword into the sea. It flashed in silver, instantly turning into a blue dragon, carrying Lü across the roaring sea.




张果老悠闲地倒骑着毛驴走入波涛起伏的海水里，说也奇怪，毛驴竟能在海中游泳。

In a leisurely manner, Zhang Guolao sat backwards on his donkey, and the animal slowly made its way into the sea. Everybody was shocked and surprised that the donkey could swim so well. 

蓝采和把手中的花篮扔向大海，花篮一下变成了盛满鲜花的小船，蓝采和坐在上面，好不自在。

Meanwhile, Lan Caihe threw his flower basket into the sea, where it immediately turned into a boat filled with flowers. He simply boarded the boat, and it began to move forward comfortably across the water.
  



韩湘子急了，赶紧将手中的长笛放入海中，长笛瞬间变成了一叶小舟，韩湘子乘舟而去。

Han Xiangzi grew anxious; putting his precious flute in the sea, it too turned into a boat, which carried him away. 

曹国舅不慌不忙，解下腰带拿在手中，海水竟然自动向两边分开，给他让出了一条路。原来，他的腰带上有避水的犀牛角。

Cao Guojiu was careful to keep a level head. Without hurrying, he untied his belt and took it in one hand. Surprisingly, the seawater parted to create a path for him, because on his belt there was a magic rhinoceros horn that held power over water.



八位仙人各显神通，悠然自得地遨游在大海之中。

Using their respective powers, the immortals continued their leisurely journey across the sea.

不料，一场麻烦正等着他们。

But they weren’t to know that, very soon, trouble lay ahead.
