CCTV news anchors seem to be worlds apart from livestream celebrities, but these two groups broke the divide and came together for a special live broadcast on April 6.

CCTV news anchor Zhu Guangquan and livestream star Li Jiaqi hosted a show on Taobao Live to help boost the sales of enterprises in Hubei province that have been affected by COVID-19 outbreak.
央视新闻主播朱广权和直播明星李佳琦共同主持了一场淘宝直播，为受到新冠肺炎疫情影响的湖北企业带货。

From hot dry noodles to navel oranges, the show featured 16 products, all from cities in Hubei province.
直播介绍了热干面、脐橙等16款产自湖北各城市的产品。

The show lasted about two hours. It attracted more than 10 million viewers and about 660,000 orders were placed, generating a total turnover of about 40 million yuan, according to China Daily.
直播持续了约两小时。据《中国日报》报道，这场直播吸引了超过1千万观众，产生了约66万笔订单，累计卖出总价值约4000千万元的商品。

Hubei, known as the land of fish and rice, suffered greatly under the lockdown measures. Its agricultural produce, from lotus roots to oranges and mushrooms, could not make their way to the market.
被称为鱼米之乡的湖北在严格的封城措施下做出了巨大牺牲。莲藕、橙子、蘑菇等湖北农产品都陷入了滞销困境。

With restrictive measures gradually easing and the epidemic situation greatly improving, Hubei is trying to find its footing again – with the help of the nation. According to the latest statistics from the Hubei Agricultural Development Center, crawfish, one of the main products of the region, reached a daily sales volume of 710 metric tons by March 26, thanks to sales to more than 360 cities across China.
随着管控措施逐步解除，疫情防控形势明显好转，湖北也在全国的帮助下再次重启。湖北省农业事业发展中心最新统计数据显示，截至3月26日，湖北一大主要产品小龙虾已顺利销往全国360多个城市，日销量达710吨。
