“云招聘”:AI 技术让毕业生就业不掉线

导读:2020年,新冠肺炎疫情给全球企业的招聘工作带来冲击,企业的人力资源部门急需用更少的招聘成本和无接触的方式去应对求职申请。AI面试的优势在此背景下逐渐凸显出来。AI面试不仅可以避免招聘方和应聘者的密切接触,还可以帮助企业高效地对大量应聘者进行初步筛选,节省人力资源工作者的时间。

Cloud computing is set to change how people communicate, work and learn. But did you know it may also affect how you are hired for a job in the future?
云计算有望改变人们沟通、工作与学习的方式。但你知道它或许还会改变未来工作招聘的方式吗?

It was once more common for people to find jobs advertised in the newspaper and then physically send a copy of their CV to organizations. Now we primarily look online using job sites and apply for those jobs using cloud recruitment services, including iCIMS Recruit and LinkedIn Talent, which manage our applications on behalf of the organizations.
人们一度经常通过报纸广告来找工作,并往应聘单位寄送自己的纸质简历。如今我们主要在招聘网站上查找信息,并使用iCIMS Recruit、LinkedIn Talent等云招聘服务申请工作,这些服务代表单位管理我们的工作申请。

However, many new technologies, with the help of AI (artificial intelligence), are changing recruitment and overhauling how we communicate with those holding the keys to our dream jobs.

AI recruitment technology, such as ENGAGE Talent, is making it easier for recruiters to find potential employees by analyzing networking sites, like LinkedIn, for appropriate profiles with “predictive availability signals”. Primarily based on keywords, circumstance changes or current company performance, it can find candidates that haven’t outwardly expressed an interest in changing jobs.
ENGAGE Talent等人工智能招聘技术通过分析领英等社交网站,找出具备“预测可用性信号”的合适个人档案,让雇主们更容易找到潜在的雇员。该技术主要根据关键词、环境变化或者当前的在职表现,找出并未直接表明跳槽意愿的职位候选人。

Helen Poitevin, research director of IT research firm Gartner, stated, “This method of unearthing [a] passive candidate is the subject of a lot of investment and innovation today.”
信息技术调研公司高德纳的调研总监海伦·普瓦特万表示:“这种发掘被动候选人的方法是当今众多投资与创新的主题。”

Another innovation designed to help recruiters are AI assistants, similar to Apple’s Siri. CNN reported that graduates in the future might have to be vetted by a virtual assistant before getting a real interview for highly competitive graduate programs.
另一个帮助雇主的创新设计是与苹果的Siri类似的人工智能助手。美国有线电视新闻网报道称,在竞争激烈的应届生项目中,未来的毕业生或许要先经过虚拟助手的审查,才能进行一轮真正的面试。

Companies such as HireVue have already developed software that plays pre-recorded questions to candidates and analyzes their responses for different factors, including grammar, facial expressions and tonality. It can then produce a result that defines the candidate’s qualities, such as tenacity, resilience or teamworking skills, and recommends whether they should be considered.
HireVue等企业已经开发了软件,能够向候选人播放预录问题,并分析回答中的不同因素,如语法、面部表情以及音调等。接下来,软件能够生成一份详述候选人韧性、顺应力、团队合作能力等品质的报告,并提供是否考虑聘用的建议。

US graduate Sarah Ali has been through eight HireVue interviews. She told CNN, “Once I understood the AI interview process, I started thinking about it as a game and how I could optimize for certain qualities or gestures.”
美国毕业生莎拉·阿里参加了HireVue上的8场面试。她在接受美国有线电视新闻网采访时表示:“在了解了人工智能面试流程之后,我开始把这件事看成一场游戏,并思考如何优化某些品质与姿态。”

This interview process is yet to become mainstream outside the US, but with the power of cloud computing, how long will it be before this tech is used worldwide?
