As Italy remains on lockdown amid COVID-19, people have been ordered to stay home unless they’re buying necessities. A new form of social interaction has emerged. Italians have adopted balcony performances, which involves livestreaming one’s singing or music playing online in order to socialize, fight boredom and boost morale.
新冠肺炎疫情之下，意大利仍处于封城状态，要求人们除购买生活必需品之外居家隔离。一种社交的新形式也应运而生。意大利人开始了阳台上的表演，比如在线直播唱歌或者演奏乐曲，从而进行社交、打发时间、鼓舞士气。

Aldo Cicchini, premier violinist of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, is one of them. He performed Manha de Carnaval on his balcony, which attracted the attention of many, including Chinese internet users. On March 18, he opened an account on Sina Weibo to directly communicate with his followers.

His video of Butterfly Lovers, a token of appreciation to his Chinese fans, has became a trendy topic on Weibo. “I felt in love with this music and its story,” Cicchini told TEENS.
他通过一段自己演奏《梁祝》的视频，表达了对中国粉丝的感谢，这段视频也成为了微博上的热搜话题。“我爱上了这首曲子和其中的故事，” Cicchini在接受本报采访时如此表示。

Many music lovers in China have even started joining his performances, Cicchini said, “Every time I saw someone new joining the ensemble, it was, for me, a huge message of solidarity and empathy.”
许多中国的音乐爱好者甚至也加入了他的演奏，Cicchini表示。“每次看到有新人加入合奏，都给我带来了巨大的支持与共鸣。”
