The term “two sessions” refers to the annual full session of the National People’s Congress, which customarily begins on March 5, and the annual plenary session of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, which usually opens on March 3.
“两会”指的是每年召开的全国人民代表大会（通常于每年3月5日开幕）和中国人民政治协商会议（通常于每年3月3日开幕）。

Two official releases on April 29 announced that the third plenary session of the 13th NPC is to open on May 22 in Beijing and the third plenary session of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC will start on May 21.
4月29日，两会召开时间宣布，十三届全国人大三次会议将于5月22日在北京召开，全国政协十三届三次会议于5月21日在北京召开。

During the sessions, about 3,000 NPC deputies and 2,150 CPPCC National Committee members will gather in Beijing to review reports of the central government and top judicial authorities and the annual budget, Xinhua reported.
