The Game Awards (TGA) is a yearly event that not only reveals upcoming games, but also gives out awards for the best titles released throughout the year.

After a tremendous year filled with a number of impressive game releases, the time has finally come to reveal which game made it out on top.

Not only did The Last of Us: Part II win the title for being the best of the best, but it also came out on top for winning more awards compared to any other nominee.

In total, The Last of Us: Part II won seven awards in the following categories: Best Performance, Best Narrative, Best Audio Design, Innovation in Accessibility, Best Game Direction, Best Action/Adventure and, of course, Game of the Year.
