Today’s a great sunny day. The things we were going to do were as great as the weather: we were going to visit Nanyang Technological University and the famous Bird Park. After a healthy breakfast we set out for our day’s adventure.

　　The university was huge. Its environment is as good as a park. We can see small flows of rivers, odd looking trees and green grass fields. It’s a very pleasant view indeed. In this great ‘park’ sat forms of brick-buildings. Here we had a great lunch. The food in the university was cheap and delicious and mostly, it’s a great mixture. You can enjoy local west food as well as Chinese dishes, Indian food and a lot others. We all enjoyed our lunch.

　　In the afternoon, we went to the Bird Park. The collection of birds inside amazed me: the ferocious hawks that always stood in their cages motionless, smart parrots which never stop squeaking, cute little penguins etc. And definitely the shows in the park! No matter if the bird is a blood-thirsty killer or a gentle animal, the trainers can make them into obedient actors and actresses. They made them to fly the way they want to, make special moves, and even trained some of them to play basketball! In a word, we had a pleasant time in the park.

　　So, that’s all for today’s diary. I expect tomorrow to be even more exciting, ’cause tomorrow we are going to Sentosa!
