随着新冠肺炎疫情的爆发，大家更加关注个人卫生及防控问题。相互握手这样的“见面礼”，似乎就不太符合当前环境了。

上周一，德国总理默克尔在柏林出席一场会议时，想要和内政部长泽霍费尔握手，但却被拒绝。后者面带微笑，但是却没有伸手。

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s handshake was rejected by her interior minister last Monday due to coronavirus fears. When Merkel reached out to greet Germany's interior minister Horst Seehofer at a meeting on migration in Berlin, he smiled but kept both his hands to himself.



反应过来的默克尔随即把手扬起，两人相视一笑。

They both laughed and Merkel then threw her hand up in the air before taking a seat.

“这是正确的做法”，默克尔落座后说道，现场则爆发出一阵笑声。

"That is the right thing to do,"she said as she took her seat while guests at the meeting also burst out laughing.  

而在此前一天，泽霍费尔在接受德国媒体采访时还说道，他已经不和别人握手了，希望几个月内相关的疫苗可以研制出来。

Seehofer had told German media on that he had stopped shaking people's hands, adding that he hoped a vaccine would be found within months.  

据《每日邮报》报道，德国没有发布禁止握手的相关警示，不过法国卫生部长Olivier Veran此前建议人们少打招呼。

Germany has not issued a general warning against handshakes, unlike France where health minister Olivier Véran recommended that people refrain from the greeting.

Olivier Véran建议减少接触，包括贴面礼在内，同时人们还应该避免握手。

"Reduction of physical social contact is recommended. This includes la bise," French health minister Olivier Véran told reporters, adding that people should also avoid handshakes.

鉴于此，很多活动干脆直接砍掉握手环节。包括英超联赛在内，球员赛前握手仪式取消了。


 
而意大利联赛采取了球迷空场政策。

Meanwhile, in Italy, fans have been prohibited from attending sporting events because of the outbreak.
