据央视新闻援引路透社报道，美国时间14日，美国选举人团共538位选举人按照各州选举结果投下选举人票，拜登已取得胜选所需的270张选举人票，成为下届美国总统。

The U.S. Electoral College cast votes on Monday for a new president based on the 2020 election results, making Democrat Joe Biden's White House victory official. The former vice president has surpassed 270 electoral votes needed to clinch the White House.

路透社报道指出，一直有特朗普的支持者在社交媒体上号召进行抗议，也有选举官员担心由于特朗普某些激烈的言辞，会引发暴力事件。但是选举人投票还是顺利进行了，没有遇到太大干扰。

Some Trump supporters had called for protests on social media, and election officials had expressed concern about the potential for violence amid the president’s heated rhetoric. But Monday’s vote proceeded smoothly, with no major disruptions.

外媒认为，此举正式确认了美国新总统，而此前特朗普对选举结果的质疑以及采取的一系列行动将是徒劳的。

CNBC在摘要中显示，美国50州及华盛顿特区的选举人投票，与此前美国大选中的情形一致，拜登最终获得306张选举人团投票，特朗普获得232张。同时，由于特朗普对此前结果提出法律上的质疑，也让选举人投票这一环节显得尤为重要。
 


据参考消息援引CNN报道，今年没有出现“失信选举人”，也就是选举人把票投给本州普选获胜者以外的其他人。这与2016年创下的“失信选举人”纪录有很大不同。那一年，有五名民主党人和两名共和党人“背信弃义”。

另据《金融时报》网站报道，已有共和党成员承认拜登在选举人团投票后获胜，认可他成为美国新总统。
 


拜登讲话：翻开新的一页

在确认胜选后，拜登即发表讲话，呼吁美国民众“翻开新的一页”。

Democrat Joe Biden called on Americans to “turn the page” on the Trump era in a prime-time speech on Monday, hours after prevailing over the Republican in the state-by-state Electoral College vote that officially determines the U.S. presidency.

此外，他还呼吁美国民众“团结一心，治愈伤痕。（To unite. To heal.）”

据CNN报道，拜登还在讲话中谈及自己上任后的初步工作：抗击疫情。其中包括分发疫苗，延缓疾病传染速度，重建受疫情影响的美国经济等。

The President-elect also laid out the work that will dominate the early days of his administration: the battle against the coronavirus pandemic, including distributing vaccines and slowing its spread as those vaccines become available, and rebuilding an economy battered by the pandemic.

据CNBC报道，当选举人团投票结果出炉后，无论是特朗普本人还是其团队都没有做出回应。尽管特朗普曾声称将“斗争到底”，但是随着本次结果公布，不清楚特朗普还有哪些后手。

Neither Trump nor the Trump presidential campaign immediately responded to the Electoral College results on Monday evening. The president has vowed to “fight on,” however, although after Monday’s certified electoral vote, it was unclear what there was left for Trump to contest.

不过，在11月的一次采访中，特朗普曾回答过相关问题：如果拜登在选举人团投票后胜选，自己是否会离开白宫？

Asked if he would leave the White House if the Electoral College votes for Biden, Trump said: “Certainly I will. Certainly I will. And you know that.”
