不只在白宫不戴口罩，在美国国内视察时，特朗普依然不戴口罩。
 

 

据路透社报道，当地时间周四，特朗普视察了宾夕法尼亚的一家口罩等医疗物资配送中心，并且宣布计划要补充美国的医疗用品战略库存。值得注意的是，尽管陪同在场的人都戴上了口罩，但特朗普本人却依然没有戴。

特朗普在参观后的讲话中大力宣传政府在疫情大流行期间在生产和销售个人防护装备方面的工作。据白宫的说法，该配送中心已经向全美各地的医院输送了数百万只N95口罩、手术服以及手套。

不过，相比较特朗普当天的讲话，他没有戴口罩的行为却更引起关注。美国《国会山报》称，特朗普不戴口罩的决定尤其引人注目，因为他身边都是戴口罩的人。

Trump's decision not to wear a mask was particularly noticeable given he was surrounded by people who wore them.

路透社报道指出，特朗普一直拒绝在公共场合佩戴口罩，尽管其政府指导美国民众佩戴口罩，白宫也要求人员在工作时佩戴口罩。

Trump has resisted wearing a mask in public despite his administration’s guidance to Americans to wear them and new White House rules requiring that staff wear them at work.

特朗普：不能复课？我不能接受福奇的答案！

不只自己不戴口罩，特朗普还表示美国的学校应该尽早复课。

 

据报道，目前美国几乎所有州以及首都华盛顿的的很多都处在关闭状态，有些已经宣布本学年余下的时间不会复课。

但特朗普13日在白宫接见科罗拉多州和北达科他州州长时却说，学校应该尽快恢复课堂教学。“我认为你们绝对应当开学。这种病毒对小孩子没有多少影响，但这是州长们的抉择。”

 

"They should open the schools, absolutely, I think they should. And it's had very little impact on young people," Trump said, "It's the governors' choice。”

 

不过，关于学校复课，美国知名流行病学家安东尼·福奇则明确表达了自己的担忧。

 

12日在美国国会参议院就新冠疫情应对情况作证时，福奇指出，疫苗和治疗无法及时到位，难以保证学校在秋季顺利开学。

Anthony Fauci, a U.S. top infectious disease expert, told U.S. lawmakers Tuesday that it would be "a bridge too far" to expect a vaccine or treatment to be available by fall to facilitate students returning to college campuses.

此外他还表示，对于秋季开学要一步一步视情况而定。

He later added: "We just have to see on a step-by-step basis as we get into the period of time with the fall about reopening the schools.

 

但不出意外，这番“苦口婆心”又被特朗普直接怼了回去。

 
对于福奇这番言论，特朗普在周三表达了不满。对于相关复课话题，他“完全不同意”福奇的说法。

Trump voiced frustration Wednesday at the nation's top infectious disease specialist. Trump said he "totally" disagreed with Fauci when it came to reopening schools.

 

“事实上，我对于这样的答案很惊讶。在我看来，这并不是一个可以令人接受的答案，特别是关于学校的部分”，特朗普说，“你必须复课。我们的国家要重启，越快越好。如果学校不开放，我不认为国家可以重启。”

"I was surprised by his answer actually," Trump said. "It's just, to me it's not an acceptable answer, especially when it comes to schools. I think you should absolutely open the schools. Our country has got to get back, and it's got to get back as soon as possible. And I don't consider our country coming back if the schools are closed," he added.

特朗普说，他只接受“超过一定年龄”的教授和教师继续“休息数周”停课。

Trump said on Wednesday the only thing that would be acceptable would be professors or teachers “over a certain age” not holding classes. “I think they ought to take it easy for another few weeks,” he added.

 

特朗普给出的理由是：因为新冠肺炎主要影响老年人、有基础病的人。从数据上看，学生和年龄小的孩子们，更不容易患病。

 

"Because this is a disease that attacks age, and it attacks health," the president said. Students and young children, the president added, are statistically far less vulnerable to the disease.

福奇在12日的听证会上说，无论是城市还是各州，如果在不具备“有效果且有效率的”应对能力时就仓促地重启经济，疫情可能会从小幅上升演变成大暴发。

 

"My concern is that if some areas, city, states or what have you, jump over those various checkpoints and prematurely open up without having the capability of being able to respond effectively and efficiently... we will start to see little spikes that might turn into outbreaks," Fauci said.

对于福奇的这样一番分析，特朗普在接受福克斯商业频道采访时直接发了“好人卡”：“安东尼（福奇）是个好人，大好人，我就是和他意见相左。我们想安全重启，但是也想越快越好。我们必须要重启。”

 

“Anthony is a good person, a very good person, I’ve disagreed with him,” Trump said in an interview earlier on Wednesday with Fox Business Network. “We want to do it safely, but we also want to do it as quickly as possible. ... We have to get it open,” Trump said.

 

此前，福奇已经和特朗普在诸多抗疫相关问题上出现分歧，比如特朗普认定羟氯喹药物的疗效以及对于疫情不会在秋季卷土重来等。

Fauci has broken with Trump on a number of issues related to the administration's response to the pandemic, including the president's claim about the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine and his assertion that the virus may not return in the fall.

 

所以，也难怪CNN的报道中会这样描述福奇的状况：如履薄冰。
