拜登：巨大红色浪潮没有发生

从已出炉的选举结果来看，美媒在选前预计的共和党占据优势的情况并没有发生。

美国时间9日，拜登在白宫就中期选举举行新闻发布会，表达了对民主党的信心，并称自己已经准备好与共和党人进行合作。他说民主党人经历了一个“强劲的夜晚（a strong night）”。

“I’m prepared to work with my Republican colleagues,” Biden said during a post-election news conference Wednesday.

拜登说：“媒体和权威人士预测的一场巨大红色浪潮（a giant red wave，指共和党占优）没有发生。我知道你们可能不喜欢我的过分乐观，但我在整个选举过程中都感觉很好。”

不过拜登同时表示，他也理解到很多美国人对国家方向持续不满：“选民表达的很清楚，他们仍然很沮丧。我了解这个情况。”

Biden acknowledged that many Americans remain discouraged by the country’s direction.

“The voters were also clear that they’re still frustrated,” he said. “I get it.”

特朗普“暴怒”？

“巨大红色浪潮”没有发生，也就意味着共和党一边没有取得预期效果。CNN报道称，共和党内部“互相指责”的情况蔓延。

美媒《国会山》网站称，特朗普承认目前的结果“有些失望”，但是仍然传达积极信息，称共和党“取得重大胜利”。

Trump on Wednesday conceded the results of the midterm elections were “somewhat disappointing” but still sought to project a positive note, saying they were a “very big victory.”

不过CNN等媒体，并不看好特朗普的前景。其一篇观点将特朗普现状称为“皇帝的新衣”时刻。

另一篇报道中则写道，特朗普对这样的结果“暴怒（livid）”，其中援引特朗普顾问的说法，称特朗普“对所有人大喊大叫（screaming at everyone）”，因为特朗普支持的多位候选人相继失利。

不过，特朗普亲自下场辟谣：“有假新闻称我很愤怒，但情况恰恰相反”。他还表示，他支持的候选人在此次中期选举中都“赢”了，他为这些人感到“骄傲”。

"There is a fake news narrative that I was furious — it is just the opposite," Trump told Fox News Digital. He added: "All these guys that are winning are my people."  He is "proud" of them.

出口民调：三分之一感到愤怒

围绕着两党纷争、经济濒临衰退以及社会焦点的对立问题，美国中期选举出口民调显示：大多数选民对美国现状持负面态度。

据美国全国广播公司新闻台（NBC News）出口民调，33%的选民对美国现状感到愤怒，另外41%感到不满。近半数选民（47%）表示家庭财务状况比两年前差，约八成受到通胀负面影响。

The NBC poll found a majority of voters are angry or dissatisfied about the way things are going across the country. The poll found 33% of voters are angry about the way things are going in the U.S. and 41% more are dissatisfied. Forty-seven percent of voters said their families’ financial situations are worse than they were two years ago, according to the poll.

美国广播公司新闻网（abc news）的与《华盛顿邮报》联合的出口民调显示出类似数据：经济和通胀成为最受关注问题。

史上“最贵”

值得注意的是，今年的中期选举成为美国历史上最贵的中期选举。据美国“公开的秘密”网站统计，2022年联邦以及州一级选举累计花费预计超过167亿美元，远高于2018年71亿美元的纪录，成为美国史上“最贵”中期选举。“公开的秘密”是一家位于美国华盛顿特区的非营利组织，主要追踪竞选财务和游说的数据。

不过，为中期选举砸下的重金，都成为了美国两党对立的“军费”。《经济学人》周刊网站刊文说，美国选举越来越“烧钱”是一个长期趋势，党派对立让政治愈发成为一项“零和游戏”，因此利益集团和个人捐助者下的“赌注”也更高。
