Fixing family drama

Blood isn’t the only thing that makes a family in the new TV series Go Ahead. Starring actors Tan Songyun, Song Weilong and Zhang Xincheng, the series has won praises with a high score of 8.9 on Douban after premiering in August. The story is about an alternative family with three children unrelated by blood and two fathers. Suffering inner wounds in their native (原生的) families, the three children yearn for love and support each other, fix personal issues and finally become better versions of themselves. “We hope it helps audiences understand how to deal with family relationships and cherish the moment and families,” the series’ director Ding Ziguang told Chinanews.
在新剧《以家人之名》中，血缘并非是维系家庭的唯一纽带。由谭松韵、宋威龙、张新成主演的这部电视剧8月份首播后，便在豆瓣上获得了8.9分的好评。故事聚焦于一个由三个没有血缘关系的孩子与两个父亲组成的非传统家庭。家庭中的三个孩子都承受着原生家庭之痛，他们渴望爱、彼此扶持、解决各自的问题，并最终成为更好的自己。“我们希望这部剧能让观众们了解如何处理家庭关系，珍惜家人以及与他们共处的时光，”该剧导演丁梓光在接受中新社采访时表示。
